Asthma, a chronic respiratory condition characterized by recurring breathing difficulties, is a global concern affecting millions of lives. Wheezing, breathlessness, and chest tightness are all too familiar for those grappling with this condition. But in every challenge, there is an opportunity for change, and this is where my mission begins. As someone who battles asthma personally, I've embarked on a heartfelt school project with a global vision to create a positive change. The focus of my fundraiser extends beyond my own experiences and reaches out to asthmatic patients in Sri Lanka who, due to financial constraints, often struggle to afford life-saving nebulizers.

Asthma knows no boundaries and impacts people worldwide. In fact, it's estimated that approximately 339 million individuals grapple with asthma globally. But in Sri Lanka, the situation is particularly daunting. The prevalence of asthma in this beautiful island nation is alarmingly high, affecting thousands of children and adults alike. Yet, access to essential medical equipment, such as nebulizers, remains a challenge for many. This is where your support comes into play.
